Was the Chris Brown and Usher Breezy Bowl Tour worth the hype? Cas and Bell from Couple of Critics traveled to Denver, Colorado to witness one of the most anticipated concerts of the year, and we’re breaking down everything from the performances to the production.
The historic Breezy Bowl Tour delivered exactly what fans were hoping for. Chris Brown brought unmatched energy, athletic choreography, incredible vocals, and hit after hit, while Usher reminded everyone why he’s one of the greatest R&B performers of all time with his smooth vocals, timeless stage presence, and legendary catalog. Together, they created one of the best live concert experiences we’ve seen in years.
Special guests Mario and Dillinger added even more value to an already stacked lineup. Mario showcased his signature vocals during one of the show’s two intermissions, while Dillinger kept the crowd entertained throughout the night.
The concert lasted more than three hours, giving fans incredible value with nonstop performances featuring classics and current favorites from both Chris Brown and Usher. From beginning to end, the crowd stayed on its feet singing every word.
Our only criticism was a few minor audio issues late in the show. There were moments during Usher’s set and Mario’s intermission performance where the sound mix wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Fortunately, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise an unforgettable concert experience.
The Breezy Bowl Tour perfectly blended Chris Brown’s explosive energy with Usher’s smooth, legendary performance style, creating a show that felt like the ultimate celebration of modern R&B. Neither artist slowed down, and both proved why they’ve remained at the top of the industry for decades.
Join Cas and Bell as they review the performances, stage production, vocals, choreography, crowd energy, and whether this is one of the best R&B concerts of 2026.
